The Deshapremi Jathika Peramuna has labeled the burgeoning political alliance between major Tamil and Muslim political parties as a covert, well-orchestrated agenda targeted against the history, identity, and the Sinhala-Buddhist majority of Sri Lanka.

Speaking at a media brief, attorney Nuwan Bellanthudawa asserted that while various factions across the island are protesting for isolated grievances, a massive anti-national conspiracy is unfolding beneath the surface. He called upon patriots and the Buddhist clergy to collectively defeat this challenge.

"The new political alliance being forged by MPs Shanakiyan Rasamanickam, M.A. Sumanthiran, Rauff Hakeem, and Mano Ganesan is an unholy coalition," Bellanthudawa declared. "Despite their claims of non-racism, their media statements expose their communal objectives. It is ironic that individuals who once knelt before the barrel of Prabhakaran's gun during the height of LTTE terrorism are now lecturing the nation on democracy and unity." He traced the ideological roots of the alliance back to the 1974 Vaddukoddai Resolution moved by A. Amirthalingam, stating that the concept of "Tamil-speaking peoples" served as the foundational blueprint for the separatist Tamil Eelam homeland theory adopted by militant groups like PLOTE and EPRLF.

"This is simply a reincarnation of the same separatist ideology that our military sacrificed their lives to defeat on May 18, 2009. They seek to erode the distinct identity of Muslims to establish a separate homeland in the North and East against the Sinhala Buddhists," he said.
