tamil national alliance Member of Parliament MA Sumanthran will meet President Ranil Wickremesinghe on Wednesday.

A telephone conversation between President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Sumanthran was held on Saturday (10) regarding the time allocation for this meeting.

According to sources close to the President, during the telephone call  they discussed about the next steps of the Provincial Councils Election Amendment Act and amendments to the law to strengthen the powers of the Provincial Councils 

The meeting between Leader of Opposition Sajith Premadasa and Sumandran MP last Friday was postponed due to a call that harin  and Manusha's case verdict was to be announced in the High Court.

In this case, it is reported that this meeting will be held again before the end of this week.

It is reported that Sumandran will also participate in a meeting with National People's Power leader Anura Kumara. However, no confirmation regarding this meeting could be made.
